since i started following football again, one of my favourite things to do is collect people’s reasons for supporting the teams they do. on saturday night when i got stuck talking to the secretary of staines town fc i asked him and he said before staines he was a chelsea supporter because when he was growing up his mum took him to every game, his dad hated football.
